A handicapped single Vegas round for all bow styles

The Valentine’s Vegas Tournament is a handicapped single Vegas 300 round for all bow styles, held over the last two weeks of February.

The main tournament, a single class for all archers and all bow styles, will see the archer posting the best handicapped score,  winning a four and a half kilogram Toblerone bar.

A couples tournament will also be run for two related archers.

The tournament’s entry frees are £1.50 for junior archers and £2.50 for senior archers.

The Vegas Round

Thirty arrows shot in ends of three, on the tri-angular ‘Vegas’ target face or the forty cm single spot target face from a distance of twenty yards.

Tournament Rules

1. Tournament will run from Friday, 12th February 2021 to Sunday, 28 February 2021 inclusive.
2. Main Tournament: Single category consisting of all ages and bow styles.
Couples Tournament: Teams of two related archers, all bow styles.
3. Archers will shoot on either the 40 cm Vegas three-spot target face, (crossbow, compound, recurve) or the 40 cm single-spot face, (AFB, barebow, horsebow, longbow).
4. Archers will shoot thirty (30) arrows from twenty yards.
5. Archers may shoot as many rounds as they like during the 2 weeks of the tournament and submit their best score only. (Complete rounds must be shot in one session).
6. Round maybe shot indoors or outdoors.
7. Archers may shoot ends of six arrows.
8. All scores must be witnessed by another archer/scorer.
9. Phone apps maybe used to record and submit results.
(For example Android: MyTargets, iPhone: Archery Scoresheets)
10. Competed score sheets can be submitted via email, ( or via the I@nseo Scorekeeper App.
11. Blank score sheets, if required are available on the tournament webpage, (this page) and Ianseo websites.
12. Score sheets must be submitted by 19:00 on the last day of the month, no exceptions.
13. Details of tournament results, including score sheets will be on the tournament webpage on the I@nseo website, which will be updated as results are received.
14. Main Tournament will be decided by highest handicapped score, ties to be determined by most 10’s.
15. Couples Tournament will be decided by the highest combined handicap of the two team members, ties to be determined by most 10’s.
16. Winners will be contacted via provided email, to arrange delivery of prizes.
17. Rounds may be shot at your club, shop or private range with insurance.
18. All rounds are shot under your clubs, club day rules.
19. Entrants, are solely responsible for the safety at the location used for this postal competition.
20. Tournament Organisers decision shall be final in all matters.
21. By submitting an entry to this tournament, you are accepting the rules and conditions.
